Callum Shaw takes CoLAC Parkrun record 05 Feb

After coming close on a couple of occasions in unfavourable weather conditions, Callum Shaw duly relieved Declan Morgan of his Lisburn club record for the Waterworks Parkrun 5k this morning, where more than 160 runners took part for the second consecutive week.

Conditions were cold and damp, but Callum took a big chunk off his best time on this course to set new City of Lisburn best figures of 19:06. This placed him 14th overall and 2nd in the Junior Men age-group. Dad Peter also enjoyed a good run, setting a new Parkrun PB of his own with 20:40 which placed him 32nd and 3rd best M45-49.
