Joe Seely 10K Road Race Saturday 30th

Great results from ‘City of Lisburn’ athletes at the Joe Seely and NI 10K Championships last weekend with all athletes improving their PB’s. First in was Stephen Morris (MO40), finishing in 35m27s, a great achievement on his first serious outing over this distance. Close behind was Paul Ervine (MO) with a consistent run in a time of 35m35s, Paul’s 5K splits were identical. Not far behind Paul, was Dave Lonnen (MO45), still producing great performances timing at 35m49s. Senior men’s captain Declan Morgan was very happy with his 38m 43s performance staying ahead of the amazing Paul McCullagh (MO55) 39m15s.
First Lisburn lady home was Diane Watson (FO40), blowing her PB out of sight, was very happy finishing in 40m47s. Mel Minshull (FO45) also delighted with her performance finished in 42m20s. Andrew Watson (MO40) showing good determination with a fine performance finished in 44m08s and lastly for COLAC a very pleased Grainne Keenan (FO40) returning to form with yet another PB timed in at 46m dead.
