PBs at Bangor / Kelly in Belgium

During the week a couple of City of Lisburn athletes had big PBs at the latest in the series of North Down AC open meets. Adam Hill made a signficant breakthrough in the long jump to record his first 6 metre long jump, recording 6.00m exactly to place 2nd to international decathlete Tom Reynolds. Meanwhile our own Chris Reynolds (no relation) threw a huge 43.90m PB in the discus which also placed him 2nd.
Over in Belgium Kelly McNeice is part of a small N.Ireland senior squad taking part in a few European track meets. Amongst several encouraging performances from local athletes was a fine 2nd place from our own Kelly in the Namur meet over 800m where she ran 2:07.41.
