City of Lisburn athletes bagged several district titles at the recent schools championships at Bangor. Track star Ciara Mageean had a straightforward middle-distance double in the Senior Girls, while Adam Hill smashed his PB to win the Intermediate 100m Hurdles with 15.7s.
In the Junior Girls Anna McIlmoyle had a fine hurdles and high jump double win, jumping an excellent 1.54m. Erin Quinn, in her first year in the Junior Girls tackled the sprint double and made it safely through to the “Ulsters” with two second places including a brisk 13.1s 100m.
